Safetymax provides onsite maintenance for AEDs and First Aid equipment in over 40 markets across the US including New York, San Francisco, Seattle, Austin, Boston and others. Our clients are some of the largest and most well-known companies in the world and include Google, Adobe, JLL, Capital One, Salesforce and others.
We are seeking a Sales Developments Representative to join our team in a lead generation to close role.
Job Summary:
The goal of the Sales Development Representative (SDR) is to sell onsite maintenance contracts in the high-end office space by calling on and developing relationships with real estate and facilities management professionals in local and national markets.
To be successful in this position, you will need to move leads through the sales pipeline to close. You would be laser focused on connecting with as many leads as possible and have the ability to distinguish which prospective customers would be a good fit for our services and profitable. As an SDR some of your tasks would include finding and engaging with viable prospects, leveraging existing client relationships, making introduction calls and setting up Zoom discovery meetings with prequalified prospects. Generating proposals and following up to close.
This position can be a remote position for the right individual.
Experience Required:
- At least 2 years history at one company in a business development role
- Extensive experience organizing and leading online discovery and sales meetings (Zoom / Webex)
- Been in an advisor /consultative role
- Record of exceeding sales quotas
- Sold to high end, high touch corporate clients.
Skills Required:
- Strong problem solver
- Highly organized with strong follow up DNA
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Above average skills with sales and office automation software: CRM tools (salesforce.com, ACT, Zoho)
- Ability to think quick on your feet and overcome objections
- Ability to persuade and convince others
- Ability to analyze and learn quickly
- Very resourceful

- Strong corporate business acumen: Interests in, follows, understands and can identify major US businesses in technology and office environments
- Organizational knowledge and awareness.
